In two short weeks we will be taking the stage as part of Chambercon, a joint presentation between the Redshift Music Society and Vancouver New Music. For our group’s set we will be premiering works by John Burke and Ava Grayson, adapting works by Rudolf Komorous and Barbara Pentland, and improvising. Later in the day we’ll be performing works for large ensemble by John Korsrud, Rita Ueda, and Jordan Nobles, and premiering a Vancouver New Music Panorama project directed by Giorgio Magnanensi. Tickets & event details can be found here. The event runs from 3pm – 7pm at the Orpheum Annex and we will be performing from 4:30 onwards.
Our freshly editted events page now has info on our shows this fall and in 2014, as well as a complete listing of our past events.
There are teasers. We’re not giving it all away yet. If you’d like to be kept in the loop for big announcements, we encourage you to join our mailing list.
We’re aware that our twitter feed isn’t behaving but we haven’t quite figured out why yet. We’re admittedly better at playing music than working with code, but we hope to have it fixed soon.
