Our events page has been updated with info on our upcoming concerts presented by Douglas College (on January 24) and the UBC School of Music (on February 6). We’re not starting the new year quietly: we’ve already spent 3 days rehearsing together and recording material for a project for next season, and we’re heading back to the practice studio tomorrow morning to carry on prep for the concerts. They’ll both be a mixture of pieces written for us and improvised music, with different written works programmed on each show. We’ll post up more info closer to the shows… until then, happy new year!
SOCAN Foundation grant awarded
We’re very pleased to announce that Ethos and Fringe Percussion have been awarded a composer residency grant by the SOCAN Foundation for Bob Becker’s residency in Vancouver this past September.
